Sheriff

Restricted Public Access

Beginning Monday, June 29th, the Weber County Sheriff’s Office will be returning to restricted public access.

We have made this decision out of an abundance of caution for the public, our staff and our jail population.
This means the following:

On-site visitation is suspended for the time being. Again, our our video visiting provider, Securus Technologies, is offering free remote video visitation during this reduction of services. Family and friends who wish to schedule a visit may do so by visiting www.securustech.net, creating an account and scheduling a visit. Codes for free visits must be obtained by sending an e-mail to freevisit@webercountyutah.gov, one code per week may be requested. Codes will not be provided over the phone.

Public fingerprinting is suspended until further notice.

Sex Offender registration will be handled by appointment only and will take place on Tuesday and Thursdays from 1:00p.m. – 4:00p.m.. To schedule an appointment please call (801)778-6664.

We will be constantly reviewing and evaluating the current situation and when appropriate will move to reopen public services.

Thank you for your support and understanding as we navigate these challenges.
